Did you give up your season tickets in the past few years

I prefer spending my hard earned money traveling to big away games where we inevitably get embarrassed, it’s a ton of fun.

tickets since 1886 - 2014 then kids took them over. Kept my name on it for points - still crappy seats. Kids dropped them 2 years ago.
Plus I would get 2-4 extra for many games to take kids + friends. I could drop the price of a season ticket just buying lunch and drinks forthose leachesmy lovely kids +
I haven't gone to a game since 2015 when Pete lost to Oregon -
This is where I'm at. Dad is a hopeless Doog season ticket holder and I'm supposed to be taking it over soon.RaceBannon said:I kept them as long as I did because it was what my mom and I did together since 1973
By 07 she sometimes forgot there was a game.
Kind of used that. Never actually told her and by 08 she didn't ask
They are great seats and were easy to sell online during the Pete era if we couldn't go, but now the bottom has really fallen out.
If there was a waiting list I'd feel some pressure, but I think I have him half convinced to stop paying all the tyee shit and I'll just pick them up on a per game basis from here on out.
We'll still go to the yearly Bay area game and watch us lose in front of dozens of people. -

Gave them up in 2018, after giving them up originally in “the Gilby era”…PAC after dark is now conducted from the couch, with a bedroom option for shitty first half play…”hope I die before I get old”

I've been lucky enough to have family friends that have always had an extra ticket for me. Their family has priority going back to the 50s. One year they wanted to give back 2 of their 8, and I paid for them. I couldn't let them break up the 8-pack.
I'm the hopeless Doog that would likely keep going to games. I keep telling myself it will get better. The CV restrictions may end of being the death kneel. It's really sad because I've loved this program since my childhood. It's really painful to watch.
Traveling to away games is infinity more fun and will likely be the focus going forward.

Sounds like you don't careSwaye said:Never had season tickets. Want to every single game as a student, then left to learn how to blow up Baze and his people. I'd catch a game here and there during the War on Terror if I was in town, but since Ty and Sark were there that actually seemed worse than the terrorists I was fighting in Iraq. Now I no longer care at all. Watched one game this year. Montana. Laughed the entire 4th quarter. Haven't watched since.
