We know from Jude's 10 sentence QB preview that Keith Price is no longer a husky and has moved onto bigger aspirations to play in the woman hating National Football league.

The much maligned quarterback was either loved or hated by the husky faithful. He only owns 10 UW passing records, completed over 60% of his passes in the three years he started, and most notably threw 75 TD passes throughout his career. His best year was his sophomore year when he possessed Tyrone Willingham recruited WR's and was allowed to grip it and rip it.

Price endured a lot at Washington. He put up with being repeatedly thrown under the bus by Hugh Breedlove Millen of the now defunct KJRAM, trashed by his own coach and lack luster pass blocking from his front five. Not only did his loser coach Sark publicly trash him but often put him in terrible situations by baffling play calling and predictable patterns. Sark's nick name should have been, "dead give away" and not best play caller in the country.

Also, don't forget the friends of dawgman.com putting the whole season on Prices' back for his senior campaign. Of course there was zero heat on Sark who hadn't recruited a decent QB prospect until his fourth in the program. Nor was there any heat for his 7 wins a year and 5-4 conference record and downright pathetic road record. No, it all came down the Keith Price according the UW loving dawgman.com.

So to all the Price haters and Hugh Millen you no longer have to endure him dawning the Purple and gold. Praise Allah!!

Peterson welcomes a new stable of QB's most namely the Denver Bronco loving signal caller Cyler "swing and a miss" Miles. Miles of course is best known for handing the ball off at Oregon State to save Sark's USC job as Pat Haden was so impressed by Sark actually getting a road win against a shitty football team. It was a big relief for the guy who wanted to be at Washington longer than Don James. GO!!! HUSKIES!!! GO!! HUSKIES!!! Your funeral chant will never be forgotten Steve "classy" Sarkisian.

Miles does posses everything you want physically in a QB, Millen would be impressed if only he were white. Miles has incredible running ability, similar to Terrelle Pryor's long stride and imposing hip flexion. If Mile proves to be an accurate passer which Peterson prides his QB to be Cyler should continue the long line of husky greats at the quarterback position. Miles no doubt is the clear favorite to start this year for coach P's first season at Washington.

However, dawg fans will have to wait and see if Miles, "has it" because Pete dropped the hammer for his alleged brawl with String cheese who has allegedly been spotted back in Seattle. Cyler will not be allowed to play at Hawaii leaving the job to either Jeff Lindquist, Troy Williams or incoming freshman K.J. Carta-Samuels.

We all know Hugh wants Lindquist to win the job as he is the white kid from Mercer Island who drew parallel's of the once great safety Jake Locker. Watching Lindquist's high school film he certainly showed skills that warranted all the offers he received out of high school. However, the brief glimpses fans have gotten of Jeff leaves many to wonder if he has what it takes to play at the college level. Surprisingly, after a jittery start of this year's spring game, he did show some zip on the ball and completed some nice passes over the middle and ended the day with 4 TD passes completing 11 of 15 pass attempts. Let's hope Jeff isn't ready to hand over the job to Cyler and has a golden opportunity to win the job and have a great game in Hawaii. Lindquist is 230lbs and stands 6'3" so if he can't cut it at QB we will see him finish his career at linebacker.

Troy Williams, in Hugh's assessment lacked leadership skills, looked like he didn't care being on the football field, and threw a bit of a lazy ball. If you watched the game on TV it provided many close ups of Troy and I think that assessment was way off base. Williams is only in his second year and if you go back to high school, he now has had three different QB coaches in three years. Williams was a highly touted recruit and was praised for his precise passing skills. Williams obviously will get his crack to earn the nod at Hawaii.

Samuels a 4 star recruit if stars and TBS is your thing then you are about ratings. Dawgman would probably tell you secretly they would rate him a two star and was leftovers because Chris Peterson can't recruit. Samuels will be in an up hill battle as he will have to prepare himself for next season to beat out Jake "dead arm" Browning. *****(see below)

Expect Cyler to win the job this fall, but hopefully it will be a hotly contested fight to win the job from Lindquist and for Jeff to get valuable game experience in the big Island.

The stable of QB's look promising for UW and it has been a long time since husky fans have seen four QB's on the roster that are on scholarship. According to the brilliant media journalists to win the PAC-12 you need tremendous QB play to get an opportunity to win the PAC and move on to a playoff spot.

Miles, Washington, Coleman, Cooper, Mickens, Ross, Kasen, five returning o-lineman and the mantra of durability could make for one hell of an offense this year. Let's hope Jonathan Smith knows what the hell he is doing because there are no excuses.

***** according to dawgman.com Browning and has dead arm and questionable leadership skills

YBE, jecornel. I read it all. This should be stickied and possibly on the front page. Loved the jabs at Hugh, KJR, and DM. An excellent if not overly cynical state of the husky union.

Thanks Gladstone! It amazes me what the so called analysts, experts, the people in "the know" of the local media have to say about UW football and coach Peterson. They should absolutely be thrilled about this hire. Instead it has been met with caution and wait and see attitude. Sark litterally had a parade when he was hired....best coaching staff in America, kickass presser, free pub.....

Nobody mentions how bad a hire Nick Holt was and what a giant prick he was...

This is the sweet spot for post length.

An outstanding post, especially about Keith Price and all he did for the UW.

Should be interesting to see how the QB position shapes up this fall, trying to split snaps between the 3 main QBs. Or maybe it won't be interesting. Either way, it'll be interesting.

They aren't Ty's recruits, how can you possibly expect Petersen to win with Sark's recruits?

    Sark > Ty, HTH.

Well, I read the whole thing. Nothing ot worry about. Miles will be the #1 QB. He should have been #1 last year. Who cares what Hugh Millen said? Did you guys put all your faith in Peterman, and think Peterman is going to listen to Hugh "naked booleg" Millen's hallucinations. Have some faith in the new coach.

I'm not worried. I think the Qb position is in good shape

Lindquist will move to lb, wtf?

    Cliff notes:
-Price was good, except when he wasn't, and now he's gone so wgaf.
-There are several hyped qb's on the roster, of which Miley Cyrus is probably the best, and as such will start every game but Hawaii.
    -Millen is rayciss.
    -Sark was a terrible coach.
-The tbs all-star running backs have good hips, and hit the fridge every morning before showering.

James should have a regular column on the front page. Informative, analytical, witty and takes appropriate jabs.

Someone should have told Hugh, Troy was playing with the 2s and 3s against the 1st string D while Lindquist was playing with the 1s.
