You just have to love what economic illiterates leftists are.

Psaki made the remarks during the following interaction with a reporter.

Well if Peppermint Patty says it's unfair we can expect Corporations will heed her warning.
-
I understand where she's coming from. I don't think Karl Marx covered "pass-through costs" in the Communist Manifesto.

Companies and consumers will each bear a share of the increase. Psaki didn’t take econ, I guess. But neither did most of the bored.

I got a 5% cost increase from a key supplier a couple of weeks ago. We have already sent even higher price increase notices to my customers as a result. No pushback, PO’s are clearing at the new prices.
Got lots of pushback with proposed 3% cost increases a year ago. -

Business as usual in other words -
Psaki is a spokesperson, not a policy expert. She says what she's told to say and been briefed on. So you're saying there's not a single person the WH that knows anything about econ.HHusky said:Companies and consumers will each bear a share of the increase. Psaki didn’t take econ, I guess. Not the case. Have several big customers that your debit card has been busy at. They aren’t even blinking at higher costs from suppliers.HHusky said:Companies and consumers will each bear a share of the increase. Psaki didn’t take econ, I guess. But neither did most of the bored.

The dazzler has a pretend MBA and a few months ago was arguing that taxes had no impact on company investment decisions despite the fact that after-tax cash flow analysis is the key driver of investment decisions. It's like arguing that an increase in the sales tax rate won't and shouldn't impact the cost of a retail product to the consumer. Sure.greenblood said:

Well, you knew that, of course -
Wasn't me with a pretend MBA that was arguing that the taxes were not a a factor in investment decisions. It wasn't me that voted for a dementia patient that is bought and paid for by the chicoms and is arguing that $3.5 trillion in new welfare spending won't cost nothing.HHusky said:
