If I'm the Huards watching Dylan Morris throw nothing helmet-high fastballs to every route on the tree and he's starting, I have to question whether or not this coaching staff can properly assess QB talent.

In all honesty Huard would probably be getting flushed and flustered jsut as much as Morris. Huard also lacks velocity on his passes so probably not a great passer on the run.

Huard has not met on-field adversity in his life. He's a blank page.

I think Huard has Browning-like scramble ability. Which isn't a necessarily a bad thing - an underrated part of Browning's game. He's a sneaky athlete and will retreat/make plays with his feet when they are there.

Morris has Eason-like scramble ability. He gets terrified with defenders around his feet and has very limited lateral agility... unless there's a lane to take off north, he's a statue.

If I'm the Huards I'm laughing at your post. However they probably understand you're 19 years old and give your dumbass a pass

Jimmy would say it doesn’t matter who’s at QB because they RUN THE DAMN BALL

Pat Forde who sucks but still

Patience is never at a premium in college football, and the first month of the season underscored that rather clearly as the revenues and expenses continue to climb in the sport. Three FBS coaches have been fired or resigned already this season, from Randy Edsall at UConn to Clay Helton at USC to Chad Lunsford on Sunday at Georgia Southern. Assistants reportedly have been fired or stripped of play-calling duties as well at Auburn and Ohio State, among others.

    No word on John Don

Sam is not as physically big as Trevor Lawrence but his is our? 5 star QB

Kelly Bryant was the Clemson QB and had led them to the playoffs. He was benched for Lawrence early in Lawrence's freshman season.

Dylan Morris is no Kelly Bryant. In fact, he sucks

    Play the talent now

Clemson was undefeated when they benched him IIRC

It should be a foregone conclusion that Donovan and (maybe) Gregory will get fired. Either Lake is canned so they are out the door with him or Lake stays and they are gone.

Lake could do worse than hiring Helton as the OC. He was at USC for 10 years so he knows the recruiting landscape and Pac-12. Of course Helton may want to enjoy his $13 million buyout, hide out in a Hollywood bungalow with a co-ed, and get tanned, ready, and rested for the 2023 season.

Or Lake could fire JonDon soon, promote Adams during the bye, and if Adams does well, hire a new WR coach.

I'm not sure JonDon will be able to coordinate an offense that will score 20+ points on the road in Corvallis.

No way anyone other than JonDon gets the axe. Lake can barely get someone to pick up the phone in the first place. He cant afford to fire both his DC and OC.

Maybe it's just wishful thinking but maybe Gregory gets curb-stomped by Babushka this weekend.

i think the scariest thing about jimmy firing jondon is jimmy hiring jondon's replacement.
