I'm afraid to look how many of them are making over $100k.PurpleBaze said:
I suspected that was a big part of it. Their OT pay plus all the operating costs which have increased rapidly over a short period of time are contributing to this.Tequilla said:
Do a Google search for annual salaries for bus drivers … there’s your answerPurpleBaze said:
Or, they still subsidize the same amount and Metro has jacked up its prices. Their operating costs have gone up I'm sure.DerekJohnson said:
UW probably used to subsidize it but no longer doesPurpleBaze said:Used to catch the bus to the games all the tim. At the time, it cost nothing. You just had to show your game ticket.
I'm sure Metro has a lot more to do with this than UWAD.
Don't forget the health care and pensions too.
And local politicians enable it because they want the campaign $$$ and public sector union votes. -
Haven’t been to husky stadium since 2015 but the random parking lots 10 minute walk and out were like $10? Who would take the bus?

Why would anyone go to a Huskie game any more? The stadium is like an advertising pinball machine and it goes downhill from there.
