I’ve always hated people that say what people want to hear (hi Sark, hi Jimmy) versus what needs to be said. Unfortunately for Jimmy what needed to be said was “holy fucking shit I have no idea why they hired me please don’t make me do this.”

My dad took me to see the Huskies play Notre Dame and Digger Phelps at the Kingdome in 1983. It was on a school night, I recall. The Huskies had Don and Alvin Vaughn along with Detlef, Paul Fortier and Shag Williams. And... the Huskies actually won.
