I have never seen Brock pissed off before. He's pissed.

Brock said he's embarrassed and he shredded Huff and Donavan. He said the offensive and defensive schemes were prehistoric and there was no excuse to be using those schemes. He was apoplectic about why we were playing our safeties 25 yards off the line of scrimmage against a QB who went 5/16 for 44 yards. He said it was absolutely pathetic. He said starting this Saturday we had better start seeing all new schemes, and spreading the field and taking advantage of college football rules that help enable more scoring.

Glad to see Brock doesn't give the bend and break defense a free pass, either.
Promoting Bob Gregory — who should've been cut loose as ILB's coach when CP exited in December 2019 — was all we needed to know about Jimmy's ability to build a good staff.
When the smoke finally clears after Lake's been shit-canned, his time as "head coach" will be every bit the disaster we experienced with Gilbertson and Willingham. -

The Gregory retention and the internal promotions of GA’s shows me that Jimmy was seeking yes men to feed his ego. I’d say the DB retention falls into this same category. Truth is we were bound to lose to a FCS team once we started scheduling them. Especially since we generally only play quality FCS teams. Pete had multiple close calls.
But the way we lost that game is absolutely chinexcusable. -
