If you could transport one Husky from the past onto this year’s roster, who would it be?

We'd win the Rose Bowel. -
Thanks Taft!

Only one who could save this team is Corey Dillion
Defense will be fine. With Dillon, and this offensive line, fuck -
I'm sure they meant a player, but I'll go with Don James.

Our greatest position of need? Maybe kicker. Choices are Chuck Nelson, Jeff Jaeger, John Anderson, or Mike Lansford. I'd personally go with one of the Js.
Oh, fuck that. Stan E it is. -
2015-2016 Azeem Victor
-
Gilmore Dobie
-
Ampterman
-
Ronnie Holmes
-
Ben Ossai.

Rosborough

Dash Crutchley

Do Feeney and Littleton count as one player? We still haven't replaced them.

I'd just list off all the good inside linebackers I can remember and take any one of them. Any would improve the defense immensely. Shaq Thompson would be amazing alongside Ulo. Feeney and Littleton played outside under the last staff but were both excellent inside backers and would be a giant upgrade. BBK, Donald Butler, Mason Foster, Marquis Cooper, Dave freakin Hoffman...any of these guys would elevate the current defense hugely. Hell, Scott White would make the defense a lot better.
Reggie Williams wouldn't hurt either.

I'm with you. Give me John Ross and any of BBK/Foster/healthy Azeem/Littleton/Feeney/etc.chuck said:I'd just list off all the good inside linebackers I can remember and take any one of them. *We? have produced good linebackers at a pretty impressive rate even going back to RN/Gilby. I dont hate Sirmon but I think he's very limited and would make a solid backup. I also think Ulo needs to be spelled more frequently. If you watch him enough he has some really ineffective, throwaway type plays where he runs himself out of the play and can't recover. I think those are tired plays.1to392831weretaken said:

Bottom line is that it's never been hard to get good lbs at UW, but there's currently only one proven, high level individual in the depth. Yikes. That's the easiest weakness to fix by magically adding one player from the past. -

BJ Hobart. Undefeated QB.
And NIL would make his toys legal now. -
Reggie Williams. How he fell to page 2 of this thread is mindboggling.

I think a defensive difference-maker has more of an impact than an offensive one. Just my opinion. Therefore, instead of Corey Dillon, I'm going with Stan Emptermann.
Nobody disrupted another team's game plan like he did. Elevated the play of the whole defense with his presence. He fucking wrecked teams. With him on the defense, the load on the offense was decreased by a huge margin.
I started watching and following the Huskies around 1976 or 77, and I don't remember another player that affected other teams like he did, regardless what side of the ball they played on.
So it's Stan for me.

You might try reading page one before you make that comment.Sources said:Reggie Williams. How he fell to page 2 of this thread is mindboggling.
But a receiver is a stupid choice anyways. -

I could have swore it was @chuck (chuck?) who mentioned Reggie on page 1.

Stan was too obvious an answer.dflea said:I think a defensive difference-maker has more of an impact than an offensive one. Just my opinion. Therefore, instead of Corey Dillon, I'm going with Stan Emptermann.

As others have said Stan E. If not him, Vita Vea.
