Didn’t read. Fuck you.

Off social media, cut loose all those highschool friends you don’t give a shit about.
Get to know all your neighbors, know everyone on the block, invite over for dinner etc, nobody hates nearly as much in person. Everyone makes sense in their own mind and context, understand everyone who will spend the time to explain.
Join hobby groups in your community, keep building a network of likeminded people. -
Of you have a beer with TKS be sure and be prepared to pay the tab. Because his wallet isn’t coming out.Swaye said:
This would go a long way. The other thing is to stop actually hating the other side. Dislike their positions, sure. Loathe their existence? Might be a bit much. And I am a known asshole saying this.HuskyJW said:Turn off your phone….internet isn’t real. 48 hours minimum….96 is better. Laugh when you check back in
Fire up the grill. I didn’t say plug it in….or turn the knob. Fire….up…..the….grill
Go fishing
Thank HuskyJW
Look, do you think @dflea and I agree politically? Um, no. But would that stop me drinking and fishing with him? Um, no. Hell I'd have a beer with @HHusky even though I think he is half retarded most of the time. Doesn't seem like a terrible human to me, just a snarky misguided lawyer. Whatever. The only person here I actually dislike is Bearswiin, because he seems like a smarmy fuck beta, but I know a couple folks here who have met him and swear he's a good dude. So fuck, I might even not throat punch him?
The point, and this is terrible to say in the Thunderdome, is to not take this stuff so seriously. I mean yeah, it's important, but actually wanting the other side to die is extreme. I get it, political tribalism is a big thing now, but the intense antagonism is over the top. All this excludes Antifa and the Aryan Nation - both sides have fringe lunatic groups whose sole aim is to hurt people to advance their kooky agenda. Fuck those guys. We can napalm all of them.
edit: We all know none of this is going to happen. The modern media is in business to inflame passions then step back and act aghast when mobs beat people and shit burns. Gets clicks. -
People should stop criticizing everything the president does. Relax and enjoy great leadership and competent government
Unity through completely agreeing with the left. Might shut them up
Plenty of time for division if the GOP ever wins again -
I'm a centrist (an actual one), but from where I sit, the leftists have ruined the Dimocrat party and are shoving all their stupid, dangerous ideas down everyone's throats. So, no, I'm not interested in negotiating or sitting down for a beer with them. They're useful idiots being supported by dangerous types who want to burn down the country. They need to be stopped.
True story: a SJW I knew from Suckattle just lost it when I posted this meme right after Trump won
Suddenly I was a dinosaur, a sociopath, and some other things. If you're offended by that, you're a soft fag. End of story. He went on about how those are his people (fat fugly feminazis I guess). I dealt with another one for years. I'm sure most on here have similar stories. Or there are the annoying ones at work, or your wife's friends, or whatever.

Change your political party.
Find one that is not in power, meaning abandon the Democratic and Republican Party. Get them out of power. The media collapse will follow amid the confusion.
That would be a good start. Should have been a lawyer joke in there because the previous statement is the punchline.
My best friend is a union loving, Biden voter, liberal SOB that hates Trump and everything he stands for - when I am feeling kind of feisty it is very easy to push his buttons. Kind of fun -
I wonder how you find common ground with blithering idiots like this

As much as I appreciate the sentiment we really are fighting real authoritarianism at this point. People who openly discuss packing the Supremes and ending the filibuster aren't interested in "governing through unity".Swaye said:

Punish the shit out of anyone that shits on core American values that used to be what we ALL agreed on. Shout out to Joe Manchin, I'd vote for that kind of adult in the room.
You do that by having beers and organizing with people in your community. By becoming politically active even if it's ugly. By starting local and starting small. It has to start with people that inherently will buy in though. -
That level of stupid hurts my head.RaceBannon said:I wonder how you find common ground with blithering idiots like this
If you buy a store and need to charge people to come and take your products so you can cover the cost of running the store, you made a bad investment. Full stop. -
