From experience in a situation where deadly force is used and a number of officers are present more than one perceives the same threat. More than one usually fire. It can also be contagious fire and a lot of rounds are fired.
Strange to me that only one person decided it was a deadly threat and fired. There were several officers right there seeing the same thing. -
Now it all makes sense. The left engineered the January 6th "armed insurrection", and a black officer killing a white woman damages the narrative of Trump-led white supremacists storming the capital. So his identity needed to be concealed and the "insurrectionists" had to be placed in solitary confinement to keep them from getting theirs stories out to the public.
