Tax cases have been brought against New York hotel magnates before.
In 1988, real estate investor Harry Helmsley and his wife Leona were convicted of evading $1.2 million in federal taxes. They had billed Helmsley businesses for personal expenses ranging from her underwear to $3 million worth of renovations to their Connecticut estate. At its peak, their real estate empire was worth an estimated $5 billion.
During the Helmsley trial, a former housekeeper testified that she heard Leona Helmsley say: “We don’t pay taxes. Only the little people pay taxes.” Helmsley denied having said it, but the comment stuck.
The indictment was brought by then-Manhattan U.S. Attorney Rudy Giuliani. Then-businessman Trump blamed Leona Helmsley — who'd been dubbed "the queen of mean" — for her husband's troubles in a letter that was obtained by the New York Post.
"Without the veil of Harry Helmsley, you would be a non-entity. You would not be able to randomly fire and abuse people in order to make yourself happy," Trump wrote of Leona Helmsley. "What has happened to the legendary Helmsley reputation is indeed sad."
Trump organization is accused of not paying taxes on $1.1 million over 15 years. So maybe $350k in tax. That’s a rounding error. Hardly something a multi billion dollar company would devise a “tax scheme” over. If they don’t thi k they owe they tax, they court can decide. Otherwise it’s political theater.
Same "rounding error" every year for 16 straight years. And it's not only federal income taxes either. -
Are you accusing the President of financial crimes based on what his drug addled son said, or based on what the drug addled son's business partner says the drug addled son said?Bendintheriver said:
Well if his son's business partner and his son aren't enough proof, can you explain who or what will be enough to change your blind eye mind? I mean you supported prosecution and impeachment for a dossier that was conjured up out of thin air and paid for by The Bitch, but you ignore the idiot biden's business partner. I would say you have a problem with honesty.HHusky said:

At some point you will have to come to terms with your hypocrisy and dishonesty. None of us will see it on here but you will know when it happens.
Financial crimes: shouldn't there be like, you know, financial records or something?

Now do Biden's brother
Who also said the Big Guy gets his cut
Let's investigate and look at those records.
Or you can just keep embarrassing yourself by sucking Joe's dick

But you're not investigating anything. You're on a message board claiming that some second and third hand hearsay proves something, unspecified, about the President.RaceBannon said:Now do Biden's brother

Slurp slurp
Suck harder
There is plenty of first person evidence that Joe took payoffs from his family
Go fuck yourself
I'm not investigating anything. No shit
