You know all those Twitter backlashes that get everyone from other Twitter users to corporate CEOs to get on their knees, kowtow to the mob and walk it back? Turns out the mob is a lot smaller and more demographically and behaviorally uniform than you might think.
According to a new Pew Research study, just 10% of U.S. Twitter users are responsible for 80% of all tweets.
With 69 million Twitter users and 250 million adults in the U.S., that means just 7 million people or less than 3% of the adult population are causing all the ruckus.
Not only that, those few active Tweeters have very specific demographics and attitudes. Almost two-thirds are women, are politically active and identify as democrats. And about a quarter of them use automated tweets or allow others to tweet on their behalf.
In contrast the other 90% of U.S. Twitter users average all of two tweets and one favorite per month, follow 74 accounts and have 19 followers. A solid silent majority if I’ve ever seen one.
So the next time you hear about a social media backlash that causes someone to about face and cave to the ‘Twitter mob,’ imagine the mob as a small group of progressive women activists — aka Alyssa Milano clones — and ask yourself what’s wrong with this picture?

I was just reading something yesterday about how the most "progressive" (read hard left) people out there are white, college educated women.
I use "educated" advisedly, it should be "credentialed" or "degreed" because in my experience while many of these people are bright, they are very poorly informed and much of their "education" consists of an ability to recite what they've been indoctrinated with. -

In my limited exposure to upper middle class Iranians, the women are educated but not loud same with the Indians from India. The hispanic women seem pretty quiet in public. She rolls all the way up to my porch and absolutely dresses him down at the top of her lungs . "HOW COULD YOU ENDANGER OUR KIDS!!!!!" On and on for a good two minutes. I am pretty sure I dropped my Coors can from the absurdity of it all. Also, there was not a car in sight, anywhere, for as far as the eye could see, and I did I mention I'm in the fucking culdesac? Dude is literally 40 feet from his kids riding in circles on a street with not one car anywhere and she is acting like he is letting them eat glass while sticking their hands in a blender.
The term Karen hadn't been invented then but I'm pretty sure she coined it that day. My neighbors on both sides were outside and watched the whole shitshow. This fucking cuck was ruined on day 2 in a new neighborhood. What a putz. She's from Europe, somewhere, and while skinny and mildly attractive is an absolute train wreck of a human. Her entire Fagbook page was pictures of a Biden Wins sign from some election night event she was at. I put a MAGA sign in her front yard one night while drinking at about midnight to spin her. I'm sure she is still investigating this hate crime to this day.

I have a coworker/friend who is married to someone like this and she barely let's him leave the basement now. Both are fully vaccinated. I am fully vaccinated, and she knows it.
He is so ashamed to just admit the truth to me, we used to get beers every other day after work and now it's a once a month thing and it's clearly only when she is forced to go to a physical meeting for her city government job.
Have another cuog friend in the area that is the same way. Is too pussy to admit the truth to me and any invitation to hang out, she has to be present. And all these women are boring as fuck so to hell with that shit.

There is a huge farm property behind us and they have a bermed shooting range all the rednecks like to shoot at. I call it the sound of freedom. If I bring beer they let me shoot all I want. She has called the Sheriffs Department on them about 40 times. They finally told her "look lady, you moved to the country, and they were here first, and their range has been permitted by the county so shut the fuck up."
