Pippen was happy to be coached to 6 championships by Jackson. Evidently championships trump racism. -
Watched the interview. Hate to see an all-timer from the last great (and watchable) era of basketball go there. Dan handled him with kid gloves and allowed him multiple opportunities to try and support his position. He did not. Real shame. Always liked and revered Scottie.

While he’s calling Phil racist, he should remember that he himself took a verbal beating from his teammates in the locker room immediately after. If I remember correctly from The Last Dance, he was actually contrite later on. Guess not. -

I am not going to watch because I need to see more people on the court who look like me so I feel included and welcomed. -

You'll notice he had nothing to back up his accusation that Phil is a racist other than he gave the shot to the white guy and when he left the Lakers he wrote a book that talked about Kobe. This is what's so fucking ridiculous about 98% of the accusations of racism. Phil's white, Pippen is black, Phil did something Pippen didn't like = Racism.

Saw Pippen and B.J. Armstrong at a White Sox game after the Bulls won their first championship in the early 90’s.
They stayed a couple of innings in great seats at Comiskey. When they left early, they received a standing ovation.
Must be hard to be worshipped and come back to the real world once you retire . . . -
