Seems to me ASJ's been publicly embarrassed, spent a night in jail, has a DUI conviction, took complete responsibility for his actions, is out a chunk of money, what else did I miss? He's done his time. . .move on. No suspension.
Of course, the writer is correct. Sark needs to stop being a flake and just say what, if any, team punishment there is. It's called Leadership, Sark.

Would a statement like this from any college coach work "I'm not going to punish the entire team for one players mistake and that's what suspending him would do. We are going to handle this matter internally. And believe me when we are through with player x he's going to wish he had just been suspended". Obviously the last line is bullshit but it plays to crowd.
