    Nah dude, this guy really is the spitting image of Vea coming in. 6'4 290 with crazy athleticism for his size. Vea may have even been smaller when he arrived at UW. If one of our DTs is going to be Vea-esque, it's him.

    Vea is generational. I don't care what ethnicity they are, the interior DL standards are Greg Gaines, Levi O, Danny Shelton level. Always have guys that good. It can be done at UW.
    No doubt Vea is an extremely high standard. I'm not saying he's going to be Vea or Earl Thomas. I'm saying he has very similar traits, size, and stock as Vea coming out of high school and has as good of chance as any of our DTs to get to that level (unless we get JTT). Roberts is a very high-level recruit and as I've said before, easy top 5 recruit in the class for me if we land him. He warms my cockles.

    Yeah I see him as close to a #1 priority in the class. I really didn't mean to contradict what you wrote. I'm just saying that the real standard not to dip below is lower mid to mid round draft picks. Shelton was a fairly bad #1 pick but was easily talented and good enough to be a mid round like Gaines.
