webinar tomorrow with positive stage 2 cancer treatment results expectedgreenblood said:why?
inclusion in the Russell 3000 means funds that track/mimic will need to buy tons of shares to account for it being added
lots of positive momentum recently in anticipation of good news. Up 100% this month, many analysts saying this will easily go to double digits. -
Great fucking call!
-
People are taking profits on the good news like always happens in biotechnology. Are you new?
The real catalyst is the index inclusion. Nothing changed with my original post -
Clicked on my brokerage account to buy. Thank God, I was late. Great tip as alwaysPostGameOrangeSlices said:This thing is getting to $20 end of month, at least
Buy tomorrow while it's still single digits -
I'll add - the webinar and press release showcased the trial results were good. For treating cancer. If you dont think that is bullish I can't help you.

Great news. Just not for my portfolio.PostGameOrangeSlices said:I'll add - the webinar and press release showcased the trial results were good. For treating cancer. If you dont think that is bullish I can't help you.

If a biotech stock dropping on good news is scary to your wallet then stick with Apple and MSFT -
Kind of like UWs moral victory over tOSU. They didn't win but it felt good.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

Yeah because the stock market only takes place one day out of the year and you only get a W or L. Great fucking analogy.Baseman said:

Not familiar in ATOS...I do like to dabble in biotechs though. ATOS at $20 would put its market cap at a couple billion...pretty steep for a biotech with Phase 2 results and a pretty limited pipeline:
https://atossatherapeutics.com/product-pipeline/ .
In my limited experience in bios they seem to work in levels...bioturds with <$100M market cap, promising early stage stuff with a market cap of $100MM<$500MM, and then breakthroughs that ramp up to a billion or so have a product that is a bolt-on for the big guys and a likely buyout candidate.
Give you a comparison of one I watch/own...PDSB. It has already run up a bunch but even with that run its only at a $250MM market cap (about half of ATOS), with pretty diverse pipeline and positive interim Phase 2 results:
https://pdsbiotech.com/pipeline/oncology. Those results pushed it from bioturd to promising...will wait and see if they get further along to the breakthrough status. -
Good stuff. My cost basis is 3.43 so Im chilling.HoustonHusky said:Not familiar in ATOS...I do like to dabble in biotechs though. ATOS at $20 would put its market cap at a couple billion...pretty steep for a biotech with Phase 2 results and a pretty limited pipeline:

The Russell inclusion is the big catalyst on top of the stage 2 results. Funds are going to buy shares and it will drive the price up.
Also, middle of July $9 call contracts sold out today to someone who is either an extremely rich degenerate gambler...or someone who knows something
Ill do more digging on pdsb -
I bought 100 shares to have something new to follow for a month.

This. Biotech stuff is so crazy volatile. I’ve been trading various biotech securities, hit on a couple, burned twice.PostGameOrangeSlices said:

I Thank Jesus for getting out yesterday and I promise, Lord, I'll never chase @PostGameOrangeSlices fool's gold ever again. -
What part of my post being a month long play did you not understand?
Boomers and stocks man...holy fuck -
I don't think ATOS has a month TBH. Time to bring in Hospice. 🥲PostGameOrangeSlices said:What part of my post being a month long play did you not understand?

The most profitable stocks are the most volatile. -
Bought 100 shares just to participate in PGOS' HH meme stock of the month
