Sorry, UBI is a horrible idea. We're now seeing the effects of a defacto UBI on labor and material supplies, and (at least transitory) inflation. I get the POTENTIAL as an improvement over the existing system of transfer payments, but that is beside the point. My preference is for reforms that include a gradual draw down in transfer payments, added work incentives, and a move to the privatization of programs like social security and medicare.MikeDamone said:
