Sir Charles isn't poetic with the English language, but he's much better than James and, this is important, Barkley is, I think, pretty bright. He has always seemed like an astute man. Lebron should man up and admit when he's flat ass wrong or face the consequences/rewards of his speech just like every other American citizen does. And that should include a reprimand and (possibly) a suspension from the league in which he derives his millions.

Everyone wants to be Ali but no one wants to face 5 years in federal prison. Ali grew up in Jim Crow and took a stand against the draft that cost him everything and was an effective spokesman on race and politics because he was smart and funny. It was a perfect storm that can't be recreated. Any athlete can say what they want but how in the hell did sports become the SJW battleground?
