Taki has been average at best. I’ve honestly been disappointed.

Bandes looked terrible last year too. Utah pushed him back nearly 20 yards on a play I watched.

Malloe had some good years developing the DT’s, but despite having all four star players at DT, we have gotten much worse the past two years inside. That’s to be expected after Vea and Gaines, and not having Levi last year hurt, but the DL has to get better.

Be curious what Rip Rowan brings to DT now that he's their coach.

I never saw Brandes. I saw Taki making plays though. He's explosive as fuck. He's coming along. He was never going to be Vea or even Gaines, but he's somewhere in between and can be really good. Tuli and Tuitele are going to be the best two DL this season, I think. Taki is a good rotational player.

I don’t really remember Taki doing much. Tuli flashed a little his R-FR season. Taki has been jag.

I had forgotten Malloe was no longer the DL coach until you mentioned Rowan.
