I think they are still in the mindset that they have to sell the fear in order to get most people to comply with their mask edicts and social distancing commands. I brought this up before but it really reminds me of how they had to spread the lie that everyone was at risk of contracting AIDs. They didn't trust the public with the truth because they believed that the public would act in ways they didn't like. -
With Aids, I think it was they didn't want to indict the gays and therefore they made it a heterosexual problem. With the chicom crud, it was to maximize the damage to Trump and wreck the economy. They didn't want to indict the gay community, and they wanted the dollars to flow, and they thought that if the public knew that straights weren't at risk then there would pogroms against the gays and no money allocated for AIDs research. They didn't trust the public with the truth. Keeping people scared of the virus even after they have been vaccinated is fucking ridiculous. Watching high school soccer players who are pretty much immune to the chicom crud wearing masks while playing outside is just disgusting, largely because of the lack of pushback.

I'm working down in LA this week. Here on the Westside everyone is wearing masks even when walking outside. You can get a drink in a bar down here if you're sitting in an open patio area but they can't turn the TV on in that area. So I could sit and drink a beer in a bar but I couldn't drink a beer and watch TV because of Science!!!!

My input in this thread regarding the current San Diego SD issue(s) has to do with where they seem to be headed moving Forward from where we sit right now.
Put another way, The ship is on the rocks. I don’t give two shits why it’s there or who is to blame. The fact remains, the ship needs to be refloated and removed from the reef as soon as possible to reduce further damage to the ship and avoid further environmental disaster. Oh, and by the way, we seem to have picked up a few hundred thousand new friends who had been marooned on the island, that “someone decided” were coming along with us.
It just seems to me that the San Diego SD has assembled the crew and plan They believe They need to float the ship. -
