    Point of technical clarification: the pictures put him on double secret probation. Then something else happened, I forget ... I think it was some @brents stuff (RIP), and the proverbial straw then broke the camel's back.

    There aren't a lot of rules in Fight Club. You can say "fuck you" any one of a million ways, and you can do it incessantly without adding any value ever, and Stalin will leave you be. But some super low threshold-level of emotional restraint is required. I've noticed that it's the guys who just can't pull that off are who tend to get bounced. I'm still shocked when anyone finally reaches Stalin's breaking point. You almost have to try to do it. My view on it is, if @creepycoug is still here after all this time, you need a long walk on the beach and time in front of the mirror, or outright cognitive behavioral therapy, or abundance, if you can't manage to stay in good standing here.

    Consider comic books. They’re art. They don’t decline in value, at least the right ones don’t. They’re actually more of an investment vehicle for the well off than they are for sweaty nerds to stare at. Although they play a part in market equilibrium and some sweaty nerds are also well off.

    Very liquid. Physically small. If so inclined they make excellent decorations in their air proof glass cases. I had never cared for comic books because I grew up in an era that had cable TV and video games, plus I liked sports and had human non make believe friends.

    I’m actually a big art guy, but the valuation of art that you or I could afford is not a sound investment. Comics on the other hand are very sensical. It didn’t take me long to figure it out. There’s a system, there are universally agreed upon prices, and even turds no one wants contain some value. The big drawback is that condition is 95% of value and those things are fragile. Like Noah Sewell, but they don’t get back up. Some creasing can make a five or six figure difference. Whether you’re storing them in a safe or displaying them you won’t be handling them, just something to keep in mind.

    Here’s a few of mine. Not my most valuable or graded, although some are fairly rare, but I’m curious if this will elicit a “take it to the tug” since 1940s comics are incredibly racist. I am serious about the comics as an art investment though.

    PSS: You can buy a Chagall signed original etching and even an original drawing in the $40,000 to $60,000 range. But yeah, you're normally going to go into north of a hundy. It's not like buying the super duper rare and old stuff that goes in the millions. Some Chagalls go for that much. But he produced a fair amount of work and he's not been dead for 200 years.

    So it’s creepy for older men to admire the beauty of young women. I would say your prejudice is strange and creepy. So they would laugh at elderly people like me in public? I don’t think so.
