Oh look, more stimulus money I won’t get.

What discount rate should I use to NPV the massive negative cash flow from all the taxes and inflation related costs of living I'll be tossing out the window vs. the $1400 I won't get?

Shouldn't make any difference what number you use.PurpleThrobber said:What discount rate should I use to NPV the massive negative cash flow from all the taxes and inflation related costs of living I'll be tossing out the window vs. the $1400 I won't get?
Slo Joe and his merry Men, women and various other sexes just pick a number and throw up.
$2000?
$1400?
$1.9 trillion (9% for Covid, of course)
Just pick one. It'll be ok.

Somehow we ended up with a small check during round 1 of COVID stim. I think it was because of the kids I still have as dependents. I didn’t really look into the why, I just divvied it up to them. They were impacted due to the part time jobs they had were cut. So it was good to give them some spending $.
I didn’t need it. Honestly the kids didn’t “need” it either. -

Covid stiiimulous relief on average, totals almost $44,000 per taxpayer.
You above or below average? -
How much of it went to large corporations via direct funds or future tax benefits? Both bills are/were enormous and incredibly wasteful. This isn't the Tug - we acknowledge government waste of all stripes in this club.PurpleThrobber said:
