Move to AZ. Only the Navajos have it.

Plus it's frowned upon if you don't have 57 guns. :)

An entire day's worth of daylight after work is right in my wheelhouse. I have no use for a daylight hour at 3:30 am, but I'll take one at 8:30 pm.

We should stay on standard time all year around. No reason for it to be light out until 9:30pm and 90 degrees until 11:30pm. Summer nights are already way longer without the extra hour, anyway.

    Like we say, fuck off.

8:30PM cocktail cruises > 7:30 PM cocktail cruises.

When it comes to how to spend a summer night, I'm hanging with the Throbber. Phuck the Amish approach to life. I'm good with a bloody mary at 11:00 AM regardless of PST or PDT. But, oh, those summer nights.

    Agree with Throbber

I don't change my clocks - I just do everything an hour early from March to October

It is weird being pitch black by 8:15 in June. Then again, it's still usually 95 degrees.

You can still go do whatever you want during the evening. But try sleeping when it's still that hot out and it's barely dark. Some of us have jobs. If you don't have a job, or you work flexible hours or whatever, then it doesn't matter if you're on a cruise at 7: 30 or 8:30...the planet will still be in the same position. Work, however, doesn't start an extra hour later so we still have to go to bed at the same time.

Sure, but I have air conditioning (you should try it). And when I had a job and got home at 6:00 I really liked having another hour of daylight. Just make it permanent.

    You sound poor.

The kind that likes sun light and doesn't like freezing in the dark like the Pacific Northwest in December.

I’m not a racist, I just think the time when black people were slaves would be a lot better than now having to learn someone’s pronouns.
