An entire day's worth of daylight after work is right in my wheelhouse. I have no use for a daylight hour at 3:30 am, but I'll take one at 8:30 pm.

You can still go do whatever you want during the evening. But try sleeping when it's still that hot out and it's barely dark. Some of us have jobs. If you don't have a job, or you work flexible hours or whatever, then it doesn't matter if you're on a cruise at 7: 30 or 8:30...the planet will still be in the same position.
