I don’t really consider lower QA to be downtown. But if you live out in the sticks it’s all the same.

My son lives a block from Memorial Coliseum, so I visit down there regularly. Yes there are homeless in the area and it sucks. Fucking gross really, but it not just that neighborhood.

You’re really pressing tho. There’s many issues that need to be dealt with; homelessness should be priority #1, but it has absolutely nothing to do with Amazon buying the naming rights for some free pub.

    Go Kracken! And RIP Sonics.

God, I miss Seattle. Cool fucking city!

    Amen. We all do.

It was great until the fucking "Socialists" took over.

I'm sure @TheKobeStopper is proud as can be, now that Seattle's a punchline across the nation.
    Kobe doesn't live in Washington
That explains his politics, then. He's not dealing with their results.

We used to call it the "Uptown District." I don't know if that's still a thing.

I was there last July. There were some bums, but it wasn't overwhelming. It was effing cold. It was the middle of the scamdemic, so it was a ghost town. Kinnear Park was full of bums though. It was disgusting. There had to have been at least 35 tents in it.

Mayor Ted was on TV explaining how tourism in Portland will be back in a year or two. This after another night of rioting in the Pearl. Hotels are at a fraction of capacity and bleeding capital. Then toss in the homelessness problem and Portland isn't going to be on anyone's destination for a visit. When even dumber than a bag of hammers Benny mentions the homelessness problem, you have a big problem. But the people that Benny votes for are the cause of the problem. You want more pigeons, then put out more pigeon food. Then watch the crap stack up.

Just like every leftard. It is definitely a mental disorder. What surprises me is that there is some business pushback but it's pretty quiet. You would think that both small and big business in Portland and Seattle would be a lot more active and vocal.
