Great listen, as always. I still think it's slightly premature to label the Oregon game as the marquee game. Stanford is. That will determine the direction of our season IMO.

2014 is entirely on VanWinkle's back.

I'm not sure Stanford, with all they have lost, is a as much a measuring stick game as some people think it is. Oregon is still the class of this conference, until two more years of Slingblade takes its toll.Gladstone said:Great listen, as always. People have been saying that about Stanford since Shaw took over.
11-2 Fiesta Bowl
12-2 Rose Bowl
11-3 Rose Bowl
They've earned the benefit of the doubt at this point. -
Agree they deserve the benefit of the doubt and expecting them to fall apart is foolish, AND I agree with Swaye that Oregon is still the biggest game of the year.Gladstone said:People have been saying that about Stanford since Shaw took over.

When you're nearing owen12 territory against an opponent who happens to be your rival who happens to be a perennial top five program who is once again the preseason favorite in the conference, nothing could establish that a new era has arrived like beating said opponent.
Beat Oregon, Nothing Else Will Be Quite As Meaningful!
