    I lived in Montana after living in LA for a few years and was without power for 6 days during Christmas 1996. I’m not a pussy so I didn’t expect help from anyone. Grew up tough, not Top Gun like you tough.

    Wood fires, melting snow in pots on the wood stove or have back-up gallons of water, and canned food along with thawing meat from the freezer was cold but manageable. I enjoyed it and met my future wife shortly thereafter.

    You have to fly commercial during a pandemic to keep the lights on financially, pussy.
