The rest of the list has some good movies, but none set a genre defining standard like Two Towers did. Closest thing would be Grundle’s nod to 28 days later

Gangs has maybe the greatest villain performance ever. Road to Perdition is Hanks at his absolute best, I actually prefer it to LA Confidential for film noir.

The PianistRoad to Perdition, Gangs, and City of God are all worthy. Gangs is one of my favorite movies due to Bill the Butcher. I really liked The Pianist though and assumed it wouldn't get others' votes.
