On an athletic level, I’d argue that black people are genetically far superior. On intellect, it’s more of a socio economic issue than genetics. A higher portion of black people live in poverty compared to white people thus they have more difficulties on an academia level. High school in the 1930s during the Great Depression was a lot tougher than today and kids got a better education. Poverty isn't the key. The big tell is the illegitimacy rate.

Exactly. When you think of specific genes in terms of utility for a measurable specific task (instead of superior or in-superior), there are going to be differences. The world is too random for that not to be true.greenblood said:

Sowell argues that just basic random geography of Africa led to more isolation than other areas of the planet. Lack of natural ports, navigable rivers, that sort of thing. And then just more randomness on top of that. Europe as a leader in the world almost didn’t happen, they were ready to be be stomped by the Mongols if not for Ogedai dying back in Mongolia and they quit advancing on their own accord. -
Growing up in the 60's as the desegregation of sports was taking hold it was hard not to notice that the best players tended to be Black. By 1971 the Pirates fielded a non white 9 and won the World Series.
At that time experts did not allow that there could be any actual difference because of the centuries of making Blacks inferior. Everyone was equal no matter what at that time
It was explained that Blacks lacked opportunities so they focused on sports like the Jewish sports stars of the 30's (there actually were Jewish sports stars)
Now we have melanin making Blacks superior to Whites by a Biden Cabinet member.
