    We already were leading the world. Our CO2 emission rates have been declining while most of the rest of the world is still increasing or staying flat.

    Exactly. If we wanted to really lead we would have been building nukes for the last decade and exporting massive amounts of LNG to Asia. Leading and making bank and giving millions of Americans true family wage jobs. Plus even less CO2 emissions.

    The US already leads the world on clean coal production, natural gas and green technology.
