I legitimately laffed. My favorite:

My brother and I immediately blew it on a Hawaiian land deal. Worst investment thread
You can't really own land in Hawaii and partnering with connected guys is stupid

My old man has done very well and is close to a liquidity event in the finance company he co-founded with a partner. He also has valuable property in So. Fla and the Keys.
I have two step-siblings. Nice kids. We like each other. Step-mom ... long history there, but I've always avoided the drama since I don't like it. Long story short, I've done more with a lot less than those two brats, but I think my father thinks I have more money than I do. I'm going to have to fix that so that I don't fuck myself out of the inheritance. He's such an secretive, close to the vest, SOB that it's hard to figure out what he has planned. If I knew, it would make a difference in how I proceed. Until I do, I proceed assuming I get $0.
