Win 75% of the games he has coached
-
Sounds good but then I busted out the slide rule for some higher math. Thats 9-3. Not gonna cut it in this CFB climate. The guy who just left isn't well liked around here after winning about 9 per.PostGameOrangeSlices said:Win 75% of the games he has coached

Let's give him a full 2021 season before going medieval on JL:

Or he's lost 25% of the games he's expected to winPostGameOrangeSlices said:Win 75% of the games he has coached

It is weird that there is literally no info out there on who is being considered, interviewed, etc for the DC job. Has Lake even acknowledged that they have an open position at DC and that they are openly looking for one?
-
Lake still in his “Crying Game” phase re: Coach K. -
It’s not weird. They were politely waiting for Oregon to hire DeRuyter so they can congratulate the Ducks on a great hire, claiming it proves how great the PAC-12 North is.bananasnblondes said:It is weird that there is literally no info out there on who is being considered, interviewed, etc for the DC job. We might not have to wait that long. The first four games is a murderers’ row:HFNY said:Let's give him a full 2021 season before going medieval on JL:

Can't wait for the grossly underwhelming hire!

He’s available

This will all be over in 3 years.

I see red flags all over the place. But I do think he needs a full season to fairly judge his coaching abilities.

You’ll have to email him.
When looking up J Lakes Enterprises LLC I saw an email he uses. I’m very sorry, but it’s AOL. -

No, but if it wasn’t taken that would have been a damn fine name for a company I would register to a PO Box instead of my house.DerekJohnson said:

RunTheDamnBall dot com at least got their domain name. The owner is a Dawgs booster. The *it matters more* Dawgs. BuildTheDam dot com wasn’t done quickly enough by babushka and the boovers. Sometimes it’s the goducks official site, sometimes it links to Cristo pressers, maybe one day it will be a 70s beaver - the possibilities are endless. -
You show some respect for that man. He won 12 games and an Orange Bowl at fucking Kansas.skookum said:He’s available
His disappointment in learning those are real and not chocolate was immense and is why he vowed to never return. -
Maybe he will make Gregory and Malloe co-DC’s and call the defense himself. Hire a young grad assistant or random position coach off a WAC team to coach OLB’s. It really wouldn’t surprise me.bananasnblondes said:It is weird that there is literally no info out there on who is being considered, interviewed, etc for the DC job. It’s actually crazy he did that well for a season at Kansas. It’s not happening again anytime soon. It likely won’t ever happen again.RatherBeBrewing said:

13th best winning percentage among active D1 football coaches. Based on your quote it looks Jimbo and Kelly’s seats are getting a little warm. SMHchuck said:

Treat the dc role like the running back position.RoadDawg55 said:

Gregory calls the plays on the first drive, Malloe on the second drive, Harris third, Brown fourth then repeat.
If one of them doesn't show up for practice it becomes a 3-coach rotation -
So, does that mean we prefer “big coaches?”bananasnblondes said:

Rumor is they are waiting for the NFL season to be over before announcing an NFL guy.bananasnblondes said:It is weird that there is literally no info out there on who is being considered, interviewed, etc for the DC job. Whispers behind the scenes are it will be a big splash. All I can say are the initials are BB but keep it in chat please. I don't want to see this stuff getting out on the boards. What happens in chat stays in chat. -
Its 100% going to be some assistant NFL guy, most likely a demoted former DC that has never recruited before in his life.
-
I think I'll take that over Gregorybananasnblondes said:Its 100% going to be some assistant NFL guy, most likely a demoted former DC that has never recruited before in his life.

Kris Richard? That would actually be a good hire.bananasnblondes said:Its 100% going to be some assistant NFL guy, most likely a demoted former DC that has never recruited before in his life.

Can anyone explain why Tom Herman isn't already our OC or at least hired on in the Tedford role with the promise of OC in 2022?
-
I’m dooging hard for Jimmy to succeed. I’m going to be patient but it doesn’t mean I won’t laugh at y’all’s Stuff
