Health and safety protocols have forced a pair of Friday games to be postponed, the NBA announced in a press release. The game between the Wizards and Pistons in Detroit and the contest between the Warriors and Suns in Phoenix have both been called off.
“Because of ongoing contact tracing within the Wizards and Suns, the teams will not have the league-required eight available players to proceed with Friday night’s games,” the league stated.
Washington and Phoenix, which played each other Monday, both had games postponed tonight for the same reason. The Wizards were scheduled to host the Jazz, while the Suns had a home game with the Hawks.
The latest postponements bring the total to nine for the season, with eight of those coming since Sunday. This marks the first time the league has postponed a game two days in advance.

I highly doubt they pause season
On a side note. Has there been an athlete worldwide who has died from this?
Thousands of cases around the world and no deaths as far as I know. Heck, most of the nba cases are asymptomatic ones.
All the more reasons to not live the life of a fat turd.
NBA won’t pause anything unless somebody dies or gets critically ill while a big increase in cases happens -

Do you have an opinion on this?
Or are you just hiding behind your keyboard linking articles to indirectly convey your point? -
Until an athlete gets critically ill or dies then all seasons in all sports will go on

Players whining about rules that are still more relaxed than the shit most citizens have to deal with. They have millions in the bank and plenty of toys to play with, too. NBA players are the most annoying, coddled athletes on the planet.IceManLikeGervin said:Three more games cancelled tonight https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-postpones-timberwolves-grizzlies-game-13-scheduled-games-have-now-been-called-off-due-to-covid-19-issues/

NBA players do have a right to voice their concerns in relation to their work environment. Comparing NBA players, who are entertainers, to regular citizens is not the best use of a comparison. It's like comparing movie stars to your average working Joe/Jane.BleachedAnusDawg said:

I like the fact that many NBA athletes take a stand on current social issues in America that affect communities all across the Nation.
I find it very believable that many professional athletes in Americas Big 4 sports (NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB) are coddled within their profession. -
