    I know, it’s crazy. He was horrible at UW. I saw a highlight of him hitting a 57 yarder in the preseason that would have been good from 65 and had a feeling he was going to get a chance.

    UW seems to now be a place where kicking talent goes to die or, in this case, go comatose.

    I've never seen so many recruited kickers on a roster and yet none worth a shit. Even the muscled up kicker that looks like a linebacker can't seem to do his one job.

    I don't think I'd even give UW a look if I was a kicker with any other power five offers.

    Pete was horrible with kickers dating back to Boise State. In the NFL, kickers are trusted and they supposed to hit every FG. Pete was nervous for 35 yard run of the mill kicks. 90% of kicking is confidence. Vizcaino has a big leg and confidence and not having Pete nervous for every kick made him better. It really seems to be that simple. I hate the whole kicking business with college kickers. Guys get offers from Sailer’s camp and that’s all that exists.
    Couldn't agree more. A scared kicker is a shitty kicker and all of them were scared shitless under Pete. Apparently that's something Lake is continuing. Henry was no guarantee to hit the end zone from outside extra point distance this year.
