Everyone with a functioning brain, has known this for some time now.
I’d suspect the Tug retards will skip this thread and save their babble for later -
Hoax to shut down small businesses. Fine dining will soon consist of Ruth Chris and Morton’s as the commercial chains.

Presumably, that's for the UK.NorthwestFresh said: -
Huh. Guess so because it doesn’t say otherwise. Good point, Taint!GrundleStiltzkin said:

This is all about a communist takeover for the central bank. Ask HH he's schmart!

It’s likely better in America.GrundleStiltzkin said:

A for profit over dimensioned healthcare system comes in handy every 100 years during a pandemic.
Europe is feeling the pain of a cost optimized system. -
Thanks for the update on the UK. Now do stats for the US.NorthwestFresh said: -

82% full in Texas (15% is covid) with zero lockdowns, but don’t let that stop you from being a cuntinsinceredawg said:

Hospitals are just like any other rental property, they have to maintain occupancy to make $$$. I bet the average heads in beds goal is North of 92%. The more cord wood the more they make!
-
My people in hospital management are telling me revenues are down roughly 30% from last year.
-
The big dough is in operations with a hospital stay that is covered by insurance and testing (scans and X rays). No hip replacement for granny or no scans for cancer and revenue takes a big hit.PurpleThrobber said:My people in hospital management are telling me revenues are down roughly 30% from last year.

I'd also bet that the total number of hospital beds available nationwide isn't what it was 20 years ago. I know in California the number of beds is down from what it was even 10 years ago despite an increase in the overall population of the state.ReignMan said:Hospitals are just like any other rental property, they have to maintain occupancy to make $$$. Hospitals want as close to 100% as possible Surge managed with elective surgeries.
-
Lots of former hospital stays are now avoided with better treatment and an expectation of going home earlier. No more three days in the hospital for having a baby or a hip replacement.SFGbob said:

Magic - government controlled healthcare.
