Maybe putting a criminal in the White House was a bad idea. You’d think that the people that scream “law and order” would have dumped Trump after he defrauded people with his fake University but instead they embraced him. Hell, he’s the most popular Republican since Reagan, which is fucking sad/hilarious.

You’re free to look up Trump U. Most Magats don’t bother but I’ll give you the bullet points. It wasn’t a real university, obviously. Most of the “teachers” had no real estate experience but were instead high pressure sales people the likes of which you’d see selling timeshares. The “teacher” with the most real estate experience had just had his real estate biz go bankrupt. Each class was nothing more than a session to sell the next more expensive class. They taught the students how to game the system so that they could qualify for lines of credit that they couldn’t afford, often times as much as $30k. These weren’t rich people. Many of them were retirees looking to make some extra scratch. Texas was about to sue Trump U until Trump swooped and and gave the Governor a large check for his re-election campaign. After scamming people out of $25 million he wound up have to pay it all back. Like I said, he’s always been a criminal.
Trump U?
Trump U? What’s your impression of it?
Trump U? What’s your impression of it? Trump lent his name to a group that was providing very dubious real estate investment seminars. Trump's only role in this was agreeing to let them use his name and promising to speak at some of the seminars. It was bogus and Trump should be hammered for lending his name to it. As it was he settled the suit for $25 million. Now do Joe Biden and or Bill Clinton or for that matter Obama all of whom never made a dime until they were elected to public office and are now worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

I knew the Federalist would put out weak attempt to explain this away but I didn’t know how weak it would be. If he didn’t know this was a huge scam why did he make a large contribution to the TX governor to squash the lawsuit headed his way?
