If this was the other way around duck fans would find a way to defend their default title.
Accepting the default title could have negative recruiting ramifications though. Don’t be surprised if it’s used against UW in recruiting. This is the definition of soft. -

Because the conference backed themselves into a corner and gave themselves zero wiggle room for rescheduling. You'll have a potential pac 12 north champion who ducked their win or GTFO finale, and you potentially have two undefeated south teams, and since one team played one more conference game, they get in. The clusterfuck the conference created provides zero credible champion, and has turned the already embarrassing conference into a national laughingstock.
