dude was given numerous chances it wasn't cut throat. Dude was in a dark place and making bad choice after bad choice. Loved azeem but not sure what a head coach or position coach is supposed to do when someone falls apart like that.RoadDawg55 said:
Somehow he still gives props to Pete. It was cuttthroat to kick Azeem while he was down and after he gave us so much, but at that point BBK was better.dirtysouwfdawg said:Azeem was ruined by Pete. Pete fucked him over to prove his point. Hopefully Pete helped make a real difference in his life and Azeem has the chance to make millions doing something else.
Probably unpopular opinion but I could care less about the F/O’s with this one.
I love Azeem but he was probably having too great of a time. Bierria was pretty good too and BBK was coming. BBK is a special teams guy in the NFL, but that was a baller right on Azeem’s heels that did pass him up.
Pre injury was one of my favorite players ever at uw. Clubber Lane in p&g personified. Hope he is doing well.
And also would like to say I like Ulo and he seems to be good at football. -
Bob also makes a lot of money and is a shitty special teams coach.Gladstone said:Pro-Gregory Camp:
- 4 out of 5 years of decent to very good LB play. At the end of the day, that is what matters
- Above average player development (opinions vary wildly here on to what degree)
Anti-Gregory Camp:
- Repeated and very predictable recruiting lapses left depth perilously thin
- Produced by far the worst LB core in the P5 in 2019, his sixth year in the program and grounds for immediate termination

I think he's imminently replaceable but I can understand continuity and having someone with loyalty during a transition for a new head coach.
Is what it is, just win Jimmy. -
JFC, I log in excited to read a couple hundred new posts, and instead a few of you made me want to toss my cardboard cutout off the Husky Stadium upper deck. FYFMFE
I like Ulofoshio too; wish UW had about 5 more like him.
Back to drinking.

Yep, I know the guy who was the property manager that had him evicted. He always had weed and bitches at his apartment.Gladstone said:

It was obvious when he was in HS that Welly didn’t really project well to any position in college.GrundleStiltzkin said:Wellington was a head-scratcher, honestly don't know why he was so bad. At one tim, UW had four tremendous HS running backs on roster—Gaskin, Butta, Austin Joyna, & Wellington—on roster and 3 played defense. I wonder if Wellington would have been better at RB.

The injury disrupted the structured and controlled schedule and dude dove headfirst into limited responsibility drinking and smoking and just couldn't stop.
When he was kicked out they didn't have a way to move the couch very far and left the casting couch in the alley... We were all poor and lived close by so we took the couch without a second thought and left an old broken fridge pushed out the back of a friends mini van filled with 3 month old moldy university teriyaki in exchange. (Seattle waste refused to take the broken fridge without paying a fee so we did what we had too by releasing it back into the wild) -
Enough about the fridge. What of the shower?Houhusky said:

That's not why he was evicted. Pretty sure the issue was that his grandma stopped paying his rent.backthepack said:

Now the land lady was all lovey dovey
You got my rent?
No, I don't have your rent
And out the door I went -
Everybody funny.
Now you funny, too. -
Just a note on Ulofoshio while we are here:
Per a Caple story during the offseason in July, Ulofoshio has always been a playmaker. During his senior year at Bishop Gorman, had 100 tackles and 15.5 tackles for loss, plus four fumble recoveries and two interceptions.
Jordan PaoPao was the one who convinced him to walk-on at UW. -
PaoPao must have not gotten along with Jimmy because all he did was produce studs

The kind of retard you have to be to say that a coach that has consistently turned out some of the best starting LBs in the pac12 6 out of the past 7 years somehow can't recruit at all AND cant develop is mind numbing cognitive dissidence.backthepack said:

He had the worst ILB group in the country last year. Bierra got worse from 16 to 17. Azeem died. Wellington got way worse from 18 to 19. BBK and Eddie are the only ones. Our special teams are god awful. Shut the fuck up with the argument already. You doog. We can fucking do better. Stop protecting below average coaches.Houhusky said:
