And thus our first taste of socialized medicinedoogie said:Just heard on bottom of the hour news on 100.3 fm Vancouver Island, Inslee warned that if strict lockdowns are not maintained over Thanksgiving weekend, be prepared for All non Covid medical procedures to be put on hold beginning next week.
“I blew my Achilles over the weekend. Needs reattached”
“Sorry, Jay Chinslee says no go. Wear a mask in the meantime” -
Couldn't happen to a more deserving state. You get what you vote for, unless of course the election is stolen.doogie said:Just heard on bottom of the hour news on 100.3 fm Vancouver Island, Inslee warned that if strict lockdowns are not maintained over Thanksgiving weekend, be prepared for All non Covid medical procedures to be put on hold beginning next week.

It does make you wonder, we had two tightly contested recalls in the last 20 years, then all of a sudden they are blowouts are accepted as the norm the last three cycles.Southerndawg said:

He is drafting an order which would require masks worn at all times outside the home, even while driving. Edit: and directing WSP to arrest non-compliers.

Governor of Maryland said there’s nothing in the constitution that says you have a right to not wear a mask.BleachedAnusDawg said:He is drafting an order which would require masks worn at all times outside the home, even while driving. Edit: and directing WSP to arrest non-compliers.
Doublethink. -
I hope you’re joking, but this actually sounds like something he would do.BleachedAnusDawg said:He is drafting an order which would require masks worn at all times outside the home, even while driving. Edit: and directing WSP to arrest non-compliers.

I don't think it's that curious. Dino Rossi was a moderate conservative, so he had wide appeal. Same goes for McKenna. And of course the whole state continued to shift left since then.Bob_C said:

The last two guys, Bryant and Culp, were absolutely pathetic candidates, so their trouncing comes as no surprise. If the WA GOP stops diddling themselves and gets serious, we might have some actual contests on the future. Especially if Seattle keeps raising the bar with their nonsense. -
When they stopped medical procedures for two weeks to flatten the curve 9 months ago the local hospitals here laid off over 10,000 people while the news was lying about a shortage of beds and nurses
I keep telling you the democrats are going to run the wishbone until it gets stopped -

Same source said Inslee is likely going to DC - not a big shock there - but that an announcement is possible next week. If not next week, due to some bs about when the best political timing is to announce, it would end up not happening until January. -
The only GOP candidate with a pulse and shot at winning - with good political timing also needed - is Kim Wyman. GOP has been trying to get her to run but she's comfortable staying as Secretary of State. My hope is she gives it a run when she's ready to either be Gov or retire.GreenRiverGatorz said:

A few of tidbits I read and heard
1 - In Shelton a store is fined $7500 for not enforcing employees and customers mask wearing
2 - In Lacey a store is fined $6000 for the same thing
3- Drove to the store and listened to the radio, I paraphrase this conversation - Todd Herman: "Jason, do you think Inslee is intelligent?" Jason Rantz: "He is..., I don't want to..., well let me put it this way, if Inslee went to an expensive restaurant he would order a hot dog, without the bun and ketchup on the side. or better yet, give him a bucket of rocks on the shoreline of a lake and he will be happy and busy all afternoon. With that I do not want him making decisions that affect our lives" -

It's mostly contained to puget sound in warshington, but it's mob rules times now, so the rest of the state gets to take it in the ass and is told to get over it, consent, unity and all that bullshit.PurpleThrobber said:

Gray's Harbor is now solid republican. Incumbent Dems are all gone. Kitsap, both Reps are republicans, the Senator is a D and should be very vulnerable as she is way outside what fits the county.LebamDawg said:
