Why not? Didn’t they win a natty using thIs selfsame strategy?DoogCourics said:
Playoff committee likely won't look too kindly on bitching out of a game with a real opponent when given an opportunity and sticking with this because it means you're undefeated and "deserving" a chance at the playoffs:

TY WILLINGHAM WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS LACK OF COMPORTMENT!!!!!1!1!11!TTJ said: -
This sounds like a PR leak after they have gotten roasted by prominent cfb media. As if a Potential canceled game is too much for them to overcome. To think some people believe this shit.Emoterman said:What's the skin off Kolob's kock if they schedule and UW is forced to play a conference opponent? Pac12 should offer to pay their overhead (tests, logistics?) if the game gets cancelled, and then BYU gets the appearance that they wanted to play a P5 team. As it stands, they look like the cultist cucks they are.

UW did a great job of controlling the narrative here and making BYU look scared to play.
Now we need to finish the job by forcing the Pac12 to either outright cancel the Utah-ASU game and schedule UW-Utah, or drop the automatic rule and let UW lock in BYU. -
Here I was, thinking us gas pumpers and marketers of third world child slave labor shoes were Washington’s rivals. Only to find out we’re the side rivals,

BYU fans have been spitting some super nice conspiracy theories. They’re pretty weak conspiracy theories actually, but I assume this is the best that they can produce without the aid alcohol, drugs, or coffee and while maintaining a healthy sleep schedule.
Who is behind this plot to discredit them? The people who have been biding their time for the last 36 years.
