3rd and 16 both safeties 18 yards back. We bring Asa on 1 count delay blitz, didn't get to los b4 qb rolled out, but that's going to happen when he has to start from Crew House.

Our safeties were non factors for most of the night. In fairness we gave up 14 points on defense. But they were gashed by the run for a good portion of the game.

One OSU possession UW had both safeties 15 yards off the line of scrimmage at the snap (i.e. one yard deep in the end zone) when OSU was on UW's 14 yard line. Unsurprisingly it was a 6 or 7 yard gain and set up a later touchdown run. I really don't get the point of playing that deep...I guess it takes away slants at the goal line, but this was well after it was established Gebbia was not good. I don't try and second guess Kwat because he's proven to make good adjustments, but damn that seemed overly conservative when OSU was running the ball down the front 7's throat.
