Since they requested the cancel.... we technically get the win, right? Bitch out, get the L?

I don't understand shutting it down because of contact tracing. We have same-day testing methods. Fucking test them and carry on.

Especially when any potential exposure was 4+ days before the game.

The conference should step in here. There is no way to have a season if a single positive among 100+ persons four days before a game shuts it down.

The SEC would make Cal play.
It's the conference policy. The case begats contact tracing on a presumed unclean basis, begats contacts ruled out, begats not enough scholly players.

Once again, NO! A cancelled game does not create a W or a L for either team. Your regular season is just one game shorter.

Good news is that it gives the 4 qbs more practice time to sort itself out.

Correction, intersection of local policy and conference policy.

My understanding was Berkeley and the University have stricter quarantine and contact tracing policies than the conference.
