Sad to see his NFL career not panning out, an all time great UW player. I'll never forget seeing him break the all time NCAA PR TD record in the rain against Oregon.

When he got rocked and fumbled against the Seahawks I didn't cheer. Just sad for the dude. And his pops has bad a real rough go of it with cancer

My inner hook would like to see him get picked up by Seattle to replace Swain.

Hopefully a change if scenery will do him good. A new team can turn a guy's career around

Both Ross and Pettis need a change of scenery ... probably both at 80/20 their careers not really panning out though

Neither Ross or Pettis are very physical receivers at all, in fact below average physicality at the NFL level.

Every time they get hit they get rocked.

He does not have a great or even good skill at the pro level. He's average to below average in everything as an NFL receiver. At least Ross has speed.

I don't think he has the mentality to be successful in the NFL. Completely guessing here, but he seems to be interested in non-football stuff more than playing football from things I've read. Great Dawg, though.

    - he's a skilled player
    - he's got talent
    - he's kinda soft
    - he's kinda ... flamboyant

Hope he makes good on a second or third chance in the league ...

He is the type a kid that thrives from positive reinforcement, unfortunately nfl is a cutthroat business and a some of the soft kids finding this out the hard way

I didn't know any of those guys were gay.

Pettis might be. I dont know or care. I agree he doesn't seem to have the mental makeup of a typical football player and that may be what holds him up. It's almost impossible to perform at that level without being 100% dedicated these days.

I almost died of @priapism when Pettis roasted Minka Fitzpatrick 1-on-1 and caught a Browning dime in the back of the endzone to start the playoff.

Such a beautiful play design too. They started with Pettis lined up in the backfield and motioned him out wide before the snap to ensure a 1-on-1 look where Fitzpatrick didn't have time to fully get situated with his position on the field. Which allowed Pettis to round out his route towards the sideline at the end to create separation.

The fuck happened to Pete's offense after 2016?

Didn't Garcia marry a playboy playmate?

San Francisco fans don't like him. They think his spends his time on non-football stuff.

...and I think they are most likely right.

Honestly they are being dumb, just because he posts about video games and photography and anime on twitter doesn’t mean he’s not putting in the work.

The dudes that only post work out vids and box jumps and shit are try hards. With that being said he hasn’t panned out in SF, partly I think Jimmy G is just ass and people don’t want to admit it but whatever. Hopefully Dante gets another shot, wouldn’t hate the hawks picked him up and stashed him on the practice squad to see what he’s got. Positive Pete and Russ could be exactly what he need.
From what I'm reading on this bored, the solution for every Dawg in the NFL is that they just need to hook up with the Hawks and Carrol will fix them.

The Michael Sam thing was relevant because ESPN told us over and over and over and over and over and over again that it was relevant.
I feel sorry for people that rely on others to tell them what to think

Tedford left for a real job.

(Yeah I know he left earlier in the season but I think his influence lasted a bit even after he left)
