The death rate today is 2.5% of those infected by the virus. In May it was 4.6%. As more people contract the virus, the survival rate will continue to rise toward 98%, as the death rate drops to 2%. Trump has cut the death rate almost in half, as of today, and it continues to drop, daily.
A buddy of mine who just retired from a large international drug company said the actual death rate is probably 1% or lower, because 50 to 100 million Americans have already had the virus without knowing it.

The CDC infection fatality rate is .02% if you are under 50 and .5% if you are under 70

We did start this thing off with the belief that most people were going to catch the virus but that we just needed to slow the spread, the "spread" which we believed was inevitable. Somehow that morphed into no one anywhere ever catching the virus.RaceBannon said:
