Btw, bill of sale and report of sale are not the same thing in Washington.

    I'll need your billing information.
He means your question of "are you in Washington"
    Ahhh.

My suspicions of DNC in fact being Lane Kiffin (Joey Freshwater) are coming to fruition. Before you take that the wrong way, just do a search for Layla Kiffin. Bravo, and kudos on any new tail you are pulling.

Take a run down to Starksville. I’m sure Leach will know what to do. He’s an attorney

    Top notch lawyering there

    Worth every penny

I was just laughing at it. All those basic questions had been asked and answered yet Inspector Clouseau chimes in anyhow.

Vote for trump, rioting occurs when he wins, claim it was fire bombed in whatever large downtown is close to you and unrecoverable.

Collect that sweet insurance money for a car you already sold but kept no record of selling.

    EZ profit

    1. Steal the car back
    2. ROLL(TIDE) the car into Mississippi River
    3. Make claim against your ins for the loss
    4. ....
    5. PROFIT

Now THIS is the type of legal advice I'd expect from this place...

dnc: Not a lawyer, but that sucks and hope it all works out for you

If we’re still interested in the OP’s question: this happens all the time. Before contacting a lawyer call your insurance company to see if they will help. You probably canceled the insurance on that car when you sold it so at least that could be some corroboration. Write out a summary of what happened and, as mentioned earlier, collect up all bits of evidence from the sale. Be detailed about the person who bought it. Also, do a FOI request to the police agencies in your area looking for any call or report information that involves the VIN of that car. There are undoubtedly police interactions with dates and names of people who aren’t you which would support you having sold it. Good luck.

    Stellar advice. Thank you kindly.

It was good advice. All of it. doogie had some good advice, too. Get the opinion of an attorney that's familiar with MS law if you can get it for free.

Was it a cash transaction? Do you have bank transactions that corroborate you taking payment for the sale?

I hope this turns out well for you, but it might not. Best of luck!
