While I agree with the premise, Ben loses me when he references 1A
HH is correct that freedom of speech is limited to protection against government censorship and not private enterprise, and that’s a good thing, for the most part.
That doesn’t make all of this shit any less disgusting, though, and the people like IC and HH any less shit headed. -

Except - the part you're missing here is that by limiting 'free speech' (some would say exercising censorship), monoliths like Facebook and twitter go from the realm of being a 'platform' to be a 'publisher'. If they just keep it wide open when it comes to speech/writing, they maintain their legal status and don't open themselves up to $$$ and criminal accusations as a party to the bad guys.
My call is one of ACB's first cases will be on this very issue.
