I'm probably the staunchest Seahawks supporter on HH. Which isn't saying much. All I said was the defense looked like shit. And they did.

Though what the Seahawks did to Dori Monson was on my mind all game long.

I like Monson but you have to know your audience. He was never going to get away with publicly going against trans orthodoxy in Seattle, especially not the way he did
it.

What he tweeted was not worthy of getting suspended/fired. This is supposed to be America.

In a capitalist system companies are going to protect their business. Monson put their business in jeopardy. It was obvious he was getting suspended the second he sent that tweet.

What he tweeted was not going to put them in jeopardy unless Bonneville and the Seahawks responded the way they did. Dori has been speaking out on air for years about this stuff and he has had the highest ratings in the nation for any local radio program.

I assume you're not really on Twitter much but there was a massive campaign against him there as soon as it happened. He's obviously spoken out before but putting it in a tweet which is readily shareable was the nail in his own coffin. He made it too easy for the slacktivists.

Big fan of Dori. He was practical, explained his opinions logically and eloquently, but this is the wrong part of the country to tweet “Hahahaha” after a veiled criticism of transgendered rights.
