Funny, I don't remember this game at all, although I'm positive I watched it. 30 minutes into this clip, and what a fucking stud Akbar was. Favorite player in the game so far.

The pacing for the 2001 Rose Bowl feels so much better than the pacing of modern CFB. We have too many TV timeouts and replay reviews take forever now.

And even if we could why would we want to? Refereeing luck is part of sport. Just one small part of a million ways that luck and randomness decide the outcome.
The team that plays the best doesn’t always win. And we wouldn’t want it any other way. -
