We've been through miscarriage and my sister lost a son to stillbirth. I don't wish that shit on anybody.

Hopefully this experience is revelatory to her.

It really sucks for them, but I personally know the personal cost of an abortion and spent my post-college days heavily partying in part because of it.

Being pro-choice, which I am, is one thing. There is more than just a clump of cells and a decision as a teen can alter the life of the parents.

Of course in another reality, I could have been a dad at 18 and had a 27 year-old kid. My then-girlfriend at the time is finally getting married now at 45 and has never had a child. There is a cost to these things.
