I randomly clicked on the link for the top 100 and saw a Taylor Swift* album was at #99. That invalidates the whole list right there IMO.
Yeah, some serious Recency bias at work here.
*Don’t get me wrong, I love me some T-Swift, but top 100 of all tim she is not. -
They put Marvin Gaye "What's Going On?" at #1 all time. It's a classic record that I've owned since college. It's not number one. Sorry.Doog_de_Jour said:I randomly clicked on the link for the top 100 and saw a Taylor Swift* album was at #99. That invalidates the whole list right there IMO.

Kayne West at #17? GTFO.

Why wouldn't you list Van Halen 1 at #292, Let it Be at 342, Live at Leeds at #327 and Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest at #43?
Rolling Stone has always been retarded, I guess they just wanted everyone to know. -
Who's Next at 77. In 2003 they had it at 2003, but had to drop it way down to make the list more woke for the millennial douche canoes. Any critique who doesn't have Who's Next in the Top 10 should DIAFF.dflea said:Why wouldn't you list Van Halen 1 at #292, Let it Be at 342, Live at Leeds at #327 and Low End Theory by A Tribe Called Quest at #43?

I ❤️ Marvin Gaye, but I also agree with you.
I don’t think I’ve read Rolling Stone since I left college...based on this tiny sampling of information sounds like they no longer know what they’re talking about. -

I have RED and am not ashamed to say it. Swift is a truly great voice and Red is her best work IMO. Clean and crisp. I think its top 500 but not top 100
And if you don't agree we are never ever getting back together -
The fact that you have freely admitted this on HCH has made me love and respect you more, Race.RaceBannon said:I have RED and am not ashamed to say it. Swift is a truly great voice and Red is her best work IMO. Clean and crisp. I think its top 500 but not top 100

Even if it just a joke. -
I looked for Highway to Hell and didn't see it.
I don't have anything else to add. -
Before Swift became ultra famous she did a Crossroads with Def Leppard and I was impressed. Then watched a special where she performed Red. Then downloaded it. It's good.Doog_de_Jour said:

Also was not even Kanye's best album, IMO. The list was definitely shit.YellowSnow said:

Race is a cultured man. I thought he'd be calling for inclusion of Beethoven and dropping knowledge about the top acts to appear at the Roman Colosseum during it's opening years.RaceBannon said:

I'm less inclined to open this article than u was the Bleacher Report article on the husky board projecting UW starters. I dont need frustration derailing my Friday joy.
-
I refuse to even look at this bullshit. Been done with Rolling Stone for years now.
-
-
I love Marvin, but if that is the criteria, Chuck Fucking Berry or GTFO...
-
I won't even give them the click so somebody tell me if they included Metallica. TIA
-
They had like 25 rappers before Tupac including like four of five Kanye albums, a Juvenile album, and a Drake album but no NWA.
Rolling Stone FS. -

Fuck Rolling Stone

NWA was at like 17. But still 2 Jay Z albums in the top 50. Fuck off.dnc said:They had like 25 rappers before Tupac including like four of five Kanye albums, a Juvenile album, and a Drake album but no NWA.

@dnc and I are wrapping up the seedings for the HH favorite album of all Tim tournament. It looks a lot different that than the Rolling Stone FS rankings. Shocking news is shocking.
-
Wow that's pretty bad
-
What a crock of WOKE-ish BS!! The only thing they really got right was #211.
